Privacy Policy for Messaging

Brokrammer built the Messaging application as an SMS messaging application. This Privacy Policy explains how the application accesses and handles user information.

Information collection

Messaging does not collect, upload, transmit, sell, share, or store users' personal information on Brokrammer servers.

The application does not require users to create an account and does not collect names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, analytics information, crash reports, or device information.

SMS and MMS access

Messaging requires access to SMS and, where supported, MMS information to provide its core messaging functionality. This may include:

• Displaying received and sent messages
• Displaying sender and recipient phone numbers
• Sending and receiving messages
• Organizing conversations
• Searching, filtering, blocking, or deleting messages when requested by the user

Messages and associated phone numbers are processed locally on the user's device. Brokrammer does not upload or transmit this information to its servers or any third party.

Data storage and retention

Message information is stored locally on the user's device using Android's messaging storage and any local application storage required for the app's functionality.

Brokrammer does not retain copies of messages or phone numbers on external servers. Users can delete messages through the application or Android's messaging facilities. Uninstalling the application removes its private local application data, subject to Android's standard behavior.

Data sharing

Messaging does not share personal information, message content, or phone numbers with Brokrammer, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

Messages intentionally sent by the user are delivered through the user's mobile network operator to their selected recipient. This transmission is necessary to provide SMS/MMS functionality and is governed by the mobile operator's terms and privacy practices.

Internet access

The application may have access to the internet for essential technical functionality. Internet access is not used to upload SMS/MMS content, phone numbers, or other personal information.

Security

Because message information remains on the device, its protection depends partly on Android's security features and the user's device-security settings. Users should protect their devices with an appropriate screen lock and keep Android updated.

Children's privacy

Messaging is a general-purpose communication application and is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13. Brokrammer does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes to this policy

Brokrammer may update this Privacy Policy if the application's functionality or data-handling practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
